2015/05-2017/05 Evaluation of the National Hemophilia Coordinating Center–American Thrombosis & Hemostasis Network - RA Malouin
Abstract: The goal of this project is to provide an evaluation of the National Hemophilia Coordination Center (NHPCC), a cooperative agreement between the Maternal and Child Health Bureau and the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network. The NHPCC provides overall coordination of the eight regional hemophilia networks, including 135 hemophilia treatment centers. The overall objectives of the project, to be implemented over a two-year period, include: developing and implementing an evaluation framework to support (1) quality improvement activities within the hemophilia treatment centers, (2) the work of the NHPCC subgroups, and (3) the overall operations of the NHPCC. The first task of the evaluation is to develop and implement a survey to describe the characteristics of the hemophilia treatment centers to serve as a foundation for future tasks to support the defined objectives.
