Geriatric Medicine Research Core

Led by Kevin Foley, MD, FACP, Associate Professor, and Director, College of Human Medicine-Michigan State University, Department of Family Medicine.  Dr. Foley is a nationally recognized geriatrician and expert on dementia. He is also committed to geriatric workforce issues as an ADGAP board member and active AGS involvement and is the recipient of the 2015 Tideswell at UCSF Leadership Scholar award.

 

 

Direct Care Workforce Research Core

Led by Clare Luz, PhD, College of Human Medicine-Michigan State University, Department of Family Medicine.  Dr. Luz is a nationally recognized gerontologist with over 30 years of clinical and academic experience focused on long-term care health services and workforce issues. She serves on the National Quality Forum’s Home and Community Based Services Committee.

Led by Daniel Ochylski, MS, RN, DNP, founding CEO of one of the largest provider organizations for home based supports and services to clients of the Macomb and Wayne County MI Area Agency on Aging with 20 years’ experience leading organizations that provide supports and services to older adults.
