Taking part in the TIP Marquette UP program has not only better prepared me to begin my residency training, but it has also continued to help grow my excitement for taking this next step in my career and becoming a family medicine physician.
Through the program I have been able to take part in a number of truly great learning experiences that have included MAT clinics, patient visits and didactics focused on OMT, and traveling throughout the UP to bring OB care to several underserved towns.
These experiences have helped me continue exploring what it means to be a family medicine physician, while increasing my clinical skills and knowledge.
For any medical student planning to go into family medicine, I would strongly recommend they consider taking part in the TIP program.
