I would like to nominate Dr. Farhan Bhatti from Care Free clinic.
I am so grateful that I got to work with and learn from him. He is genuine, kind and patient with students, staff and his patients. He takes time to teach students, but also allows them to see patients and learn by practicing. I really appreciated this since many community preceptors did not let me see as many patients or do as much. Don’t get me wrong the other community preceptors were nice, but Dr. Bhatti stood out during my family medicine rotation as an excellent role model for compassionate patient care. He helped me with oral presentations and note writing skills that I still use today. I learned a lot while working with him. He is down to Earth and I have only good things to say about him. I hope to practice with compassion, patience and kindness with all patients like he does.
