The Department of Family Medicine has given out Community Faculty Awards to congratulate and honor dedicated family physicians and their offices across the great State of Michigan. The Flint community gave the award to Paul Karr, MD.
Dr. Karr was nominated by Anne Drolet, a 4th year medical student:
“Dr. Karr was an outstanding family physician preceptor and would be extremely deserving of the Preceptor of the Year award. I spent four weeks in his clinic during the beginning of my third year of medical school. Dr. Karr considered where I was in my medical training, and made sure to tailor my experience appropriately. He spent extra time helping me perfect my patient presentations and pushed me to develop differential diagnoses and plans for each patient.”
