The Department of Family Medicine has given out Community Faculty Awards to congratulate and honor dedicated family physicians and their offices across the great State of Michigan. The UP community gave the award to Laura Santoro, MD.
Dr. Santoro was nominated by Mary Hamati, a 4th year medical student:
“I would like to nominate Dr. Santoro— she was an excellent teacher to me and her patients, an amazing leader, and a truly exceptionally kind person. I loved working with and learning from her. She gave my valuable feedback and pushed me to be better. She deserves this recognition.”
Dr. Laura Santoro is presented the Preceptor of the Year Award by 4th year medical student Ken Seid.
