Bayley is interested in mental health and improving healthcare access for people with chronic health conditions in rural communities. As a member of the HELP lab, she will be assessing mental health care disparities for children with chronic illnesses in rural Michigan. She is a first-year medical student at the East Lansing campus. Bayley received her B.S. in Biology from Saginaw Valley in 2019. Prior to enrolling in medical school, she worked as a scribe in the emergency room, where she gained experience working with patients with a variety of chief complaints, including behavioral health concerns. She also worked in Human Resources for a rurally focused hospital.
