Beyan received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2021 from Ankara University School of Medicine in Ankara, Turkey. She plans to pursue a residency in pediatrics and her research interests include pediatric psychiatry, health literacy, and the social determinants of health. She is taking this opportunity to expand her understanding of pediatric rheumatologic diseases and broaden her skillset in clinical research.
As a member of the HELP lab, Beyan is involved in research regarding the treatment integrity of a remotely delivered CBT intervention for adolescent and young adult patients with childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus.
