Biography

Debra Miller, Ph.D., L.M.S.W.-C., earned both her master’s degree in social work and her PhD in Family Therapy from Michigan State University.  She is a dedicated educator and clinician whose career centers on empowering allied health professionals through evidence-based approaches to treatment.

 As a faculty member, she is deeply committed to advancing behavioral health integration and enjoys working alongside a dedicated team to support resident education, training, and research. Her teaching focuses on family therapy, brief behavioral interventions, and systemic approaches to behavioral health care—always with the goal of improving how interventions are practiced in real-world settings.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Miller finds joy in running, hiking, and planning adventures with friends and family. A passionate football fan and avid reader, she embraces both movement and reflection in equal measure.
