Network: Ascension Providence Family Medicine Residency
Dr. Taylor attended Hampton University in Virginia for her undergraduate studies then returned home to attend Wayne State University School of Medicine. During her residency at Providence, Dr. Taylor was chief resident and recognized for her outstanding teaching skills with the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine award. Her passion to reach and teach her community, led her to work for a federally qualified health center in the Detroit neighborhood where she was raised. Her experience in community medicine, unique teaching style, and participation on various capacities in the residency keeps her very involved in the program.
