
LaToya Brown , DNP
Biography
LaToya Brown, DNP, AGPCNP-C, sees geriatric patients at assisted living facilities in the East Lansing area; working with Drs. Raza Haque and Nadir Abdelrahman. Dr. Brown enjoys developing relationships with residents of the assisted living facilities and their families. She strongly believes that the geriatric population needs help with their health management and enjoys filling that role. Dr. Brown earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wayne State University.
In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Brown is also a clinical instructor at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Dr. Brown is interested in doing research in geriatrics and with emerging adult populations.
